Before publishing: replace [LEGAL NAME], [NIF], [ADDRESS] and [CONTACT EMAIL] throughout. Portuguese law requires a business website to identify the trader, including the NIF.

Who we are

Viralsensor is a trading name of [LEGAL NAME], a sole trader (empresário em nome individual) registered in Portugal under NIF [NIF], at [ADDRESS]. We are the data controller for the personal data described below.

The short version

This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and contains no advertising or tracking pixels. Fonts are served from our own domain, so simply reading this site does not send your data to any third party. We only hold personal data when you contact us or become a client.

What we process, and why

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision making or profiling.

Who else is involved

We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf under contract: website hosting, call scheduling, invoicing, and the content generation and scheduling tools we use to deliver the service. Where your plan includes publishing, content is transmitted to the social media platforms you have authorised. We will name any specific provider on request.

Some providers are located outside the European Economic Area. Where that is the case, transfers are covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records are kept for up to 12 months. Client records are kept for the life of the engagement and for as long as needed afterwards to handle queries and disputes. Invoicing records are kept for 10 years, as Portuguese tax law requires. Server logs are kept for a short retention period set by our hosting provider.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access to your personal data, correction of it, erasure of it, restriction of processing, portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese supervisory authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), at www.cnpd.pt.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
